Lou Knoble

Lou’s painting style is very different, bordering on surrealism. You will find five little squares in succession hidden among the painted images of his works. They have become a fixture in his paintings and now verify that the painting is indeed “a Knoble.” When he started painting seriously in college, he was an abstract expressionist, a student and product of the 50s, taught by Peter Busa, close friend and compatriot of Jackson Pollack. Lou’s work is also available at The Artisan Gallery.
